Obituary of Anthony Assaf

ASSAF, Anthony David, 59, of Tampa, formerly of St. Albans, N.Y., passed away March 3, 2012. The former Queens, N.Y. native is survived by his brother, Ricardo Assaf (Robyn); sister, Linda Assaf; nephew, Wesley Hildreth. A graduate of Adelphi and C.W. Post Universities, he obtained a Masters Degree in counseling. Tony was a member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. He was a dedicated member of the New York City Sanitation Department for 20+ years and retired in 2005. Tony volunteered to participate in the clean up following the attacks on 9/11 at the site of the World Trade Center. He was beloved by children and enjoyed entertaining them with magic tricks. He was dearly loved and will be missed forever.
