Obituary of Betty Woodard

Betty Jean Woodard fell asleep to Peacefully awake in Heaven, 03/14/2019,  Welcomed by her Lord and Savior & loved ones there. Betty, born in Milwaukee WI,  05-20-1930 to  Anna & Raymond Bertz. She moved to OshKosh  & graduated High Sch, then working as a Telephone Operator, Betty's life of travel began at age 21 when she & friend Lois transferred to Phoenix,AZ.  On a Blind Date she met Creighton R. Woodard they married Jan10th, 1953. The USAF transferred them to Tampa & AL, he retired in Tampa.  Betty worked at Maas Bros. In 1977 She & Woody began their lineage of "Datura's Miniature Schnauzers"  becoming members of Tampa Bay Minature Schnauzer & Tampa Bay Kennel Clubs. In 1985 they  moved to Dade City continuing their Line which produced 25 Champions. They were member of Dade City Christian Church.  Betty continued traveling with Lois to Hawaii in 2001; Egypt in 200i3 including a Nile & Danube River Cruise; England 2004.
Betty predeceased by her Parents;  Brother -Henry (1994); husband Creighton R. Sr. (2006); Son Donald (2010). Survived by children: Kathy (Paul) Hewett; Creighton “Ray” Jr; Karen (Mike); Michael (Missi) & Grand, Great & Great Great Grandchildren. Per her wishes there are no services, internment at Florida National Cemetery with her Husband. Any donations can be made to local humane services, in honor of her love for all God’s creatures.
