Obituary of Richard Harrison Walker, Jr.
WALKER, Jr, Richard Harrison, 65, passed away on March 19, 2019, surrounded by loved ones. He was the son of Richard H. (Dick) Walker, Sr. and Barbara J. (Bobbie) Walker. He is survived by his mother, Bobbie; his sons, Phillip and David Walker; his brothers, Rusty, Randy and Rich Walker; his grandchildren, Phillip, Alana, Jefferson and Benjamin Walker; and his nephew, Matt Walker. Rick was a Tampa native, Air Force veteran and worked as a project manager for Rockwell International, designing and building aeronautical displays for fighter jets during the Gulf War. He later went into automotive retail sales and then into marine (boats) retail sales. Rick loved his family. He enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, and playing guitar. But his real love was fishing. Freshwater, Saltwater, Inshore or Offshore, he didn’t care. He could fish nonstop all day and never need a thing and be his happiest. Rick had a great sense of humor and had that classic “Walker” giggle. He will surely be missed by all who knew and loved him.
