Obituary of Marie Kelly

This is the day that the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24).

Marie Ann Kelly, age 93, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2019, at her home at Canterbury Tower in Tampa, Florida.

She was born on the Fourth of July in 1925 in North Charleroi, Pennsylvania.  She was the only child of Clem and Ann Noel.  

She was married to Hunter Kelly in 1946.      They moved to several locations to be with her parents before eventually settling in Tampa in the 1950’s.

Marie was always in the service of others and put their needs above her own.  She was a Cadet Nurse in World War II.  She later got a cosmetology license so she could aid the elderly.  She held various business positions before retiring as the office manager of an anesthesiology practice.  She was a member of the Unity Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.  She is survived by her two grandchildren (Noel & Marie) and her two sons and their wives (Noel & Kathy and Joe & Becky)

Even when she was in declining health she was still the light in the room that brought happiness and joy to all those around her.  She always found the good in others.

A memorial service will be held on June 8th at 3:00 PM at Canterbury Tower located at 3501 Bayshore Blvd, Tampa, Florida.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Unity Worldwide Ministries (Unity.org) or the charity of your choice.

Please don’t mourn her passing but rather rejoice in the purpose filled life she led.  God is in charge.
