Obituary of Maria Isabel Juarez

Maria Isabel Juarez Salazar, a beloved mother, talented cook and avid gardener, passed away on September 25, 2019 in her Tampa home after a battle with Alzheimer's.   She was born in Guatemala and moved to Tampa Florida in 1976 where she continued raising a happy and successful family.  She is preceded in death by her husband Roberto Juarez and will be missed greatly by her daughters Irma Juarez, Miriam Velasquez, Mayra Hernandez and her son Eddie Juarez as well as her grandchildren Abby, Anna, Christopher, Joseph and Sergio.   Her loving presence will also be missed by daughter-in-law Lori Juarez, and sons-in-law Jose Hernandez and Marco-Tulio Velasquez.

It is hard to imagine anyone more loving than mom Isabel or anyone that loved to cook more than she did. In addition to her cooking abilities she also had a special touch for growing beautiful flowers and every kind of fruit and vegetable.   If that wasn't enough she also was a very talented dressmaker and cake creator.  Thanks to her love, resourcefulness and giving spirit, family and friends never lacked for anything, especially delicious food.

Although we will miss her greatly we know that mom is now resting in the arms of God, whom she loved and greatly respected.  Her love, kindness and tenderness will always be present in our memories and in the memories of all family, friends, neighbors and everyone she touched during her 91 years on this earth.

A catholic funeral mass will be conducted for Maria at  St. Lawerence Catholic Church on October 18, 2019 at 10:00 AM
