                                                    For Those I Love

                                              For Those Who Loved Me

Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call, turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to Love, to work or play; I found my place at the close of day even though my parting has left a void. Please fill it up to overflow with our memories of joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a hug, a kiss; Ah, yes, these things, I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow. I will pray for you for the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life has been full, and I have savored much, good friends, good times, and your Loving touch.

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief. Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart, lift up your head, and share in this eternal joy with me. God wanted me now. He has set me free.
