Obituary of Rose Lynn Nordstrom

Rose Lynn Nordstrom, age 72, passed away peacefully, September 24, 2020.  She was born December 29, 1947 in Greenville, Michigan to Gladys and William Munger.  

 

Rose loved the Lord and loved people.  She mostly enjoyed cooking for family and friends and spending time and sharing stories with others.

 

For over 25 years, Rose worked at GTE/Verizon in Tampa, Florida.  In her later years, Rose served others by volunteering at the College Hill Mennonite Church Food Pantry.

 

First and foremost, Rose was a dedicated mother; she treasured her children and cherished every moment with them.   She is the loving and devoted mother to William Harris Ivey, Jr. (Elaine) of New Braunfels, TX and Michael Todd Ivey (Megan) of Northville, MI.  Rose is also survived by her sister, Gloria, 6 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and many extended family and close friends.

 

Due to the pandemic and for the safety of others, only a private memorial service will be held.
