Travis Oshạn Craven

7/17/1981 – 5/15/2021

In loving honor and memory of our dear husband, father, and son Travis Oshạn Craven, age 39 - a Valrico, FL resident – passed away unexpectedly due to COVID on May 15, 2021, at his home in Valrico. Travis was a proud Native American of the Choctaw nation. Travis grew up on Wild Wind Farm in Bucks Harbor, ME on his families’ sheep farm with his parents David and Rhonda Craven and his siblings Barret, Cassie, Lacie and Candace, where he learned the importance of a close family, good music and having Jesus in your heart. Travis graduated from Washington Academy in 1999, where he was a chess and boxing champion and became a lifelong friend with Eric Segee. In 2003, he reconnected with his mother Alexandra Craven, who he loved to spend time with chatting, growing in his faith, going to the movies, and going out to eat with. Travis graduated from Husson College in Bangor, ME in 2015, he went on to work at PWC Tampa as a Director of Data Analytics. In his spare time, he loved being outdoors golfing, watching his sons play soccer, bowling with family and friends, singing in his church’s choir, producing his own music, spending time with his family going to the movies and amusement parks, and attending Bell Shoals Baptist Church regularly. He was a kind and loving spouse to his wife Colleen Elizabeth Craven, as well as an amazing, loving, supportive father to his three young children Liam & Rory, 7 years old and Allison, 5 years old. His favorite saying to tell his children was “To protect your heart and let Jesus in.” A celebration of life will be held at Bell Shoals Baptist Church 2102 Bell Shoals Rd, Brandon, FL 33511 June 5 at 1pm.
