Samuel White
In loving memory of Samuel White, age 65, a son of the late Mr. Ernest and Julia White was born in Santee, SC. Samuel accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at an early age and became a member of Live Oak A.M.E. Church.
Upon graduation from high school, he joined the United States Air Force and worked up the ranks, eventually retiring in Tampa, FL. His tenacious work ethic and charisma led to wonderful professional success. Over the course of his military career, he was recognized with several commendations that took note of his leadership. Samuel married the love of his life, Lin Li Fong in Okinawa, Japan. He was the proud father of two children, LaKisha White and LaTasha White. Ever the gatherer, Samuel was always bringing friends into his circle of life, many of which remain in contact to this day.
Survived by 2 daughters: Lakisha and Latasha White
Five sisters: Mrs. Mary L Small(Robert), Ms Dorothy White of Vance, SC; Mrs. Shirley (Joseph) Rush of Elloree, SC, Mrs. Sarah (David) Bailey, and Mrs. Janice (Horace) White of Holly Hill, SC; six brothers, Mr. Albert White if Vance, SC, Mr. Johnny (Barbara) White of Orangeburg, SC, Mr. Jerome (Judy) White of Santee, SC, Mr. Freddie (Liane) White of Columbia, SC, Mr. Earnest (Catherine) White Jr, of Holly Hill, SC, and Mr. Earnest White of Miami, FL.
Preceded in death by his lovely wife Li Fong White, his parents Mr. Earnest and Julia White and three siblings Maebell Bryant, Laura Ann Avinger and Nathaniel White. Two aunts; Mrs. Lurine Abraham, and Mrs. Florence White of South Carolina.
