Obituary of Vernon J. Murphy Jr.

Murphy Jr, Vernon J “Jim”, 84 passed away peacefully on August 25,2021 following a long battle with colorectal cancer. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Joyce, children Jay (Kelli), Jackie, and Jeffrey (Jamie), grandchildren Maddux, Grace, Matthew (Kim), and TJ, great grandchildren Kameron and Rylee, and grand-dogs Sugar and Sassy. Jim loved his family, enjoyed golfing with his buddies, and vacationing in Biloxi and Las Vegas. Jim loved his work, and was still going in to the office at age 82. When he could no longer work, he greatly missed his work family at Club Z! and Acti-Kare, where he served as President.
