Obituary of Susan Joyce DeLorey

Susan Joyce DeLorey of Valrico, FL. passed unexpectedly on January 6, 2022. She was 67 years old. Born in Winchester, MA., she is survived by her son, Joseph (Jay) Carey; her brothers Thomas F. Carey (Nancy) of Somerville, MA. and Peter F. Muise of Tampa, Fl. Also, survived by her loving grandchildren; Kyleigh Golden and Nathan Carey and her great-granddaughters Lacey, Maleah and Avah Antoine all of Tampa, Fl. Along with her best friend Dina Pizzuto of Atlanta, GA. She also had 11 step-children and numerous step-grandchildren and great grandchildren and nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. 

Susan was preceded in death by her father Joseph Carey, mother Barbara Muise, sister, Joan Carey and her beloved husband Kenneth DeLorey. Susan, spent many years helping those that could not help themselves. She counseled numerous people that were struggling and helped them to find a better way of life. She is credited by many for helping to save their life through her counseling. Susan, was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to so many and she will be sorely missed.
