Ignacio McIntosh

Obituary of Ignacio Ray McIntosh

“How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard”. - Winnie the Pooh

Ignacio Ray McIntosh — aka Iggy, aka Nacho — made a swift entrance into the world on April 16th, 2022 joining his parents Sadie and Andrew McIntosh, along with his siblings Jameson, Linkin, Tobias, and Aunt Kyleigh. His time on this earth was excruciatingly short.

That short time was filled with so many beautiful moments. Ignacio was truly magical. His cries and coos were like some small mystical woodland creature - the most magnificent sound that will never be forgotten. The memories that remain of his Soto-Alvarez webbed toes that we will long to play with, his perfectly plump cheeks that were ripe for kisses and squeezes, his smile that was some how both electric and cherubic, his blue-grey eyes that looked into our souls, and his beautiful red McIntosh hair that brought us all such delight.

Though we only had these moments for a very brief time, we will always cherish them and so many more. Iggy was too good to stay here with us and we will miss our sweet baby angel, but know he is still with his family that preceded him in a better place.

“Sometimes,” said Pooh, “the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.”
