Obituary of William Jacobs

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William Jacobs Jr., who lost his battle with mouth cancer at the age of 67. William was born in Puerto Rico to William and Diana Jacobs. 

He moved to the United States as a young man, where he built a life with his loving wife, Gloria Jacobs. Together, they raised four children: Yahaira 'Judy' Spence, Yaniz Wright, Yulissa Jacobs (deceased), and William Jacobs III. William was a devoted husband to his wife, Gloria, and the two shared many wonderful years together. William loved his children and was a proud father who always did his best to show them he cared.

William was also a loving grandfather to his four grandchildren, Giovanny, Jordan, Izabella, and Landon. He loved spending time with them and watching them grow.

William had three brothers, Joe, Fritz, and York, who he loved dearly. He was a loyal and supportive brother, and his siblings held a special place in his heart.

Despite his illness, William remained positive and strong throughout his treatment. He was a fighter until the end, and his bravery and determination inspired his family.

William's life will be celebrated at a memorial service on Friday, April 7, 2023 from 6:00pm-9:00pm at Florida Mortuary Funeral & Cremation Services 4601 N. Nebraska Ave in Tampa, Florida. Family and friends are invited to come pay their respects.

William will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
