Obituary of Chandrika Patel

Chandrikaben Manubhai Patel, age 64, passed away at Advent Health Hospital.  She was born June 1, 1955 in India to Dayabhai and Santaben Patel.  She was the oldest of four children: Ashokkumar Patel (predeceased), Sunil Patel and Daxaben Patel.  Chandrikaben Patel married Manubhai C. Patel on May 27, 1975 and raised three children; Nishuta, Hiren and Arti. The family immigrated to the United States in 1984 thanks to the help from close family including Ramanbhai and Lilaben Patel and others.

Chandrikaben was a devoted and loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She loved the spouses of her children (Vinesh, Nilesh and Kashmira) and treated them like they were her own.  She was very proud of her husband, children, family, and loved her 6 grandchildren unconditionally - Hemal, Neha, Rajiv, Riya, Nikhil, and Dhevan. She was a kind and gentle soul, was very generous and thoughtful. She always put everyone ahead of herself and was very social with everyone. She was religious and enjoyed spending time at the mandir to sing religious songs and reading spiritual books. Her favorite time of the year was Navratri.  She loved to dance the night away and always had a smile on her face.  Her light will continue to shine bright through her husband, children, grandchildren, extended family and friends.
