Bro. Hill will always remain in my heart and mind as a most trusted friend and confidant. He would tell it to me as it really was and not as I wanted it to be-keeping me humble. I joyfully and anxiously look forward to being around him again in the "New System."

Dear sister Hill,
I will really miss brother Hill. He was loyal to Jehovah and served our congregation with sacrifice and much love. He was always there welcoming the friends with a smile or a quip comment, that you often had to think about to get it. Bro. Hill helped
to set your heart for the meetings. Even if I missed talking with him, just seeing him walking around and engaged with brothers was really nice. I always appreciated his talks he gave. He encouraged, commended and counseled with love and set a fine
example as an elder. During the Kingdom Hall's renovation, bro. Hill was often on the roof working hard and later doing the meetings for the congregation. His presence will be missed. I look forward to time when Jehovah will "make all things new."
With Love,
Margaret B.

Charles was a GOOD man, elder, husband and very faithful brother. Yes, it hurts when we lose a good brother.
Emily and I go back before they were married, so there are many, many memories. Camping at Juniper Springs, sitting around the bonfire and sharing stories. There were many gatherings at our hose as well as the Williams. We should have taken more
photos.
Serving on the Body of Elders and shepherding the friends were very positive things we shared.
We will catch up with him in the Resurrection.

Such a wonderful, faithful brother. He naturally possessed so much that a shepherd should be: Mild, approachable, caring. He recognized that the assignment was about people, not paper. So much of his work was quietly done behind the scenes. Only he, Jackie and Jehovah know the countless hours he gave keeping the Kingdom Hall in good repair. It was a labor of love. And again, behind the scenes, he helped many to keep going. He didn't want any of that broadcasted. That's the kind of man he was.
Jesus promised that, "the one who has endured to the end will be saved." (Matthew 24:13) Our dear Charles endured as a faithful, unmovable, loyal servant of Jehovah till the end. Charles made it! That means he's just up ahead.
All our love to Jackie, Vicki, Paul and the entire family

DEAR SISTER J.HILL: with my deepest sympathy on the passing of my dear brother and friend brother Charles Hill, it was a real joy to know him we had become very good friends and we enjoyed each others company. I think about the times when he would get a call from the brothers to come over, we would wait for the brothers to get back home in Oldsmar, they had groupers and red snappers we take the fish in his back yard and there he taught me how for the first time how to fillet a 15 pound fish!! , but most importance is that Charles along with brother j Williams taught and aided me in the truth an i am happy to be one of Jehovah witnesses i think God for brother hill. so again i share your grief too sister hill, my thoughts will always be with you and the family, may Jehovah continue to bless!!. Your Brother Robert Allen Brown Jr.

Charles Hill was not only a good brother in the truth but he was a caring person who never held back from helping people . I was for many years a fishing buddy of his . We had many good memories together, especially one night under the Howard Franklin bridge in my boat. One time I asked him how his fishing did that day. He looked at me and said, well not too good, but I did drown some worms. He is in Jehovah's memory now and we all look forward to the day when Rev. 21:3,4 is fulfilled . We want to express our love to Jackie and the family. Tom and Mary Williams

Old friends are the best friends even when years pass the heart is still attached. Charles found early on in life how to have "Balance"!. It was reflected in his humor, work, anger, authority, judgment, emotions and generosity. Fran and I both benefited from his wisdom and judgment and enjoyed his humor.
Even the roof on our home benefited from his generosity, he spent a whole day and a half helping tear off and replace our old shingles .Most impressive, he was enjoying himself the whole time
(What a guy)!!
He loved the beauty of creation and gazing up at the stars. Tom still recalls being on a camping trip with Charles at Juniper Springs, finding an open area and staring up at the Milky Way. An amazing sight ,was the brightest any of the guys had ever seen it!
We hope to do that with him again on a paradise night in the future.
Our love to the family Tom and Fran

When I first moved here I was introduced to Be. Hill. I went to shake his hand and he said "no I hug". Every time I saw him after that he gave me a hug. It was nice meeting him even if it was a short time but I can't wait to see him again and get one of his hugs. My condolences to his family.

Our deepest and sincere condolences! We certaintly miss Charles. Charles was a faithful, happy and funny brother. He never missed his rounds of hugs in the Hall. He had a funny chuckle that remains with us. Isaiah 26:19 assures us that we shall see him again. We shall reap that benefit, if we do not tire out,,,,Brian & Audrey James

We have been in the congregation a little under 2 years and on the very first day Br. Hill welcomed us at EVERY meeting. We will never forget that. Savannah made it a point to talk to him every time she saw him. When she wrote him a card, he wrote her one back. It was special to her. She has a picture of him and Sis Hill on her dresser where she keeps her most special people. She says she cant wait to see "her best friend" very soon when he wakes up. We look forward to seeing Br.Hill very soon.

I am so very so to hear about Uncle Gene (Charles) passing. He made it no secret about the love he had for his family. All it took was a phone call and he would be the first one there and the last to leave. He was always supportive and caring. His heart was as big as he was tall.
Aunt Jackie please know I love you and Uncle Gene so much and thank you for everything

To Sister Hill and family: My husband and I are so sorry to hear about the passing of Brother Hill. Brother Hill was one of the kindest, happiest, most considerate and welcoming of the friends we met at the Seminole Heights congregation. He will be missed by all who knew him. His physical presence may no longer be with us, but the wonderful memories will remain dear to all who knew and loved him. Please accept our deepest sympathy and our condolences. We pray that Jehovah will imbue you and your family with faith and hope during this time as you wait to meet your departed loved one in the new system of things.

Brother Hill, it was such a pleasure coming to know you. I truly appreciated your words of encouragement before, during and after my baptism. I remember you telling me that you wanted me to me to talk to someone different every meeting, I did exactly as you said and you started calling me "Your Little Social Butterfly" and you were my hall "Dad." How I miss our moments of conversation and loving hugs. Until I see you again, you will always have a special place in my heart and memory that makes me smile. Love you Brother Hill and I'll be seeing you soon.

Charles was a very wonderful man. He was an exceptional cook and had a great seafood stew recipe that Jeanette loved. He loved to BBQ and go fishing with friends. He loved his family, the congregation, and his god Jehovah. I considered him as a 2nd father and he always gave me the right advice when I needed it. I always enjoyed and have fond memories of playing basketball with him on Sunday afternoons at the Henry & Ola park. Charles was very encouraging, generous, kind, and helped more people in the community and congregation than most will ever know about. Charles will be missed by all, but his legacy will live on in all those whose lives he touched. I look forward to seeing him in the future where none of us will be plagued by horrible illnesses. Charles has been our neighbor for many years. We could not have asked for a more helpful and friendly close neighbor. I remember many long interesting talks I had with him. Charles was a wealth of knowledge and advice. We had Charles replace our old garage door since that was his specialty. I marveled at how thorough and precise he worked. I offered to help but he laughed and knowingly said “ thanks but it will go quicker if I do it myself”. He was certainly right about that. He and I talked about projects we were doing , cars and world affairs. It was always enjoyable. Charles was a fine person and the world was a better place because he was here. He will be missed by many.

Charles was such a loving brother. So kind and approachable. He loved Jehovah and Jehovah’s people. He enjoyed talking and visiting with his brothers and sisters before and after every meeting. He understood well that his job as a shepherd was about people - not paper. The amount of work he did behind the scenes, maintaining Jehovah’s house, taking great pride in its elevated standing in the community, only Jehovah can calculate. He contributed so much to the congregation and is deeply, deeply missed.
We remind his dear wife, Jackie and their whole family that the Lord PROMISED, “ the one who has endured to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:13) Charles endured to the end. He made it! That means he’s just up ahead!
