James (Jim) Kenneth Webb passed away June 8, 2021 at home in Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth M. and Dorothy L. Webb and brother John (Jack) R. Webb. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, especially Hal Hrasna, his partner, sisters Susan L. (Raymond Soehngen), Anne E. (Marvin Johnson) and Mary E. (Donald Hoskyns) along with several nieces and nephews. Jim was born in Toledo, OH on February 5, 1949, grew up in Randolph, NJ, graduating from Randolph HS in 1967 and going on to Boston University for his bachelor's degree in Business Administration. In the challenging job market of the times, he made a detour and put his inherent dance talent to good use as an instructor at Arthur Murray Studios, later representing them in great form through Ballroom Dance competitions. In 1974, Jim went on to fulfill his passion for travel and adventure by becoming an international Flight Attendant Purser with TWA where he learned to "sleep standing up" as he was known to say.
His career spanned decades only coming to an end when corporate mergers and management changes took the fun out of it. Then after meeting Hal, he partnered in a thriving business designing and implementing many wonderful home renovations in the Tampa , FL area. In their 20 years together , they enjoyed many international travels. Jim was an avid boater and a loving owner to many a fortunate rescue dog. Jim was a gracious host with a quiet dry sense of humor and always left a kind impression on all whose lives he touched. A Celebration of Life for Jim will be arranged at a future date.
