WILLIE HERBERT (BUBBA) GIBSON, was born March 15, 1953 in Edison, Ga. to the parents of Jaunita and Howard Gibson. Bubba departed this life on March 9, 2022 listening to his favorite gospel music. At an early age Bubba wanted to make and repair things. He graduated from Middleton High and attended college at Union College in New Jersey. Bubba worked as an electrical engineer at AT&T in NJ. He also enjoyed life as a mechanic, and home Repairman and being an all-around handyman. Bubba attended Beulah Hill Missionary Church in Gretna, Fla. under Pastor Marcus Smith as a faithful member. After relocating to Tampa last year, he joined Glory to Glory Ministry under Bishop Aubrey Shines and was a faithful member until God invited him home. Bubba leaves to mourn his passing: his spouse, Essie Gibson, children Katrina Petifrere, Preston (Aketta) Gibson and Tremayne (Nadra) Gibson, Lorinzo Gibson of Hendersonville, Tn. and Aleye Gibson (Simone), also stepchildren from Gretna, Fla. Kayotrish Bethea, Faith Bethea, Torris Bethea and Terence Bethea. Mother, Juanita Gibson from Piscataway, NJ, and siblings, Ida Jones (Lonnie) from Piscataway, NJ; sisters, Annie Williams and Evelyn Smitherman from High Point, NC., brother, Charles Gibson (Connie) from Macon, Ga. Bubba was blessed to have lots of Grands and Great Grands. He also leaves Aunts, Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and friends to celebrate his life. A special thanks to his friends David and Madan Sailor and loving sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
