I am certain everyone has been touched by Ranchhodbhai’s amazing spirit. He made his goal to be emotionally available not only to his children and grandchildren but also to his wide network of relatives and friends.
I am having a hard time imagining my life without Ranchhodbhai. He was a brother-in-law in name, but really a brother to me. I have been lucky to know him since I was married to Narender for over 45 years.
I had the honor of being able to FaceTime most of his children and grandchildren. And I was privileged to be with him when he took his last breath.
I will remember all the amazing memories and big hug to Bhabhi and all of those that have been touched by him.
Much love, Rashmi

To know Ranchodbhai was to know someone who was positive and selfless. To know someone who was caring and a father figure to so many. It was to know someone who was adventurous and inspired others around him to expand their own sense of adventure.
Growing up in Kenya, Ranchodbhai was like a father figure to me. He and Bhabi were instrumental in building a strong foundation for our family to grow, thrive and love. His warm presence, joyful smile and positive energy created an environment in which we all thrived.
Ranchhodbhai was a very big part of my well being as my friend, brother in my times growing up in London, US and India. Our relationship was so incredible in London. He provided us guidance and love to all of us to achieve great work ethics and our fullest potential …
Ranchhodbhai definitely had an adventurous family gene and we all envied their lifestyle of being half the time in Asia and US. When we were in Unjha and planning to visit our favorite place Udiapur, he was excited to join us. We took an adventurous route to go to Ranapratap’s Kumbhalgarh Fort and it is a spectacular Rajasthani Fort Worth visiting.
It is a very long steep climb to go to the top of the fort and most people of his age started giving up. He was focused to make it to the top, and he did it with the attitude that it is worth to live in the moment irrespective of the consequences.
We had a wonderful trip together when Hitesh was doing a father and sons trip in Europe. When in Amsterdam, Hitesh and I had a great night out with Ranchhodbhai but we were in no condition to drive back home to Bonn the next day. Ranchodbhai became our chauffeur. He was the best company, open minded and a great driver.
Ranchhodbhai was a dear man and to me a second father with a soft loving voice and a wonderful soul. He will never die until we die as he will be part of our memory and we are all so grateful for Ranchhodbhai to be part of our journey in Life..
Long live the Kambalia clan …

Sorry to hear about Ranchadobhai passing away. It was a shock to us. We just met him and the family during our Tampa visit in April. We are praying that God gives you strength during this difficult time. Ranchodbhai was a very nice and sweet person. Everyone liked his company, and we are going to miss him. Ranchhodbhai was a very dear friend. Frankly, I considered him as my older brother, for being kind and caring to me, over so many years (even going back to our days in Kenya).
Last time we talked, he said “Govind, when are you coming? Come for a longer stay. If you fly, I’ll pick you up at the airport.” I promised I’ll plan the visit very soon. Alas! I couldn’t make it, blaming Covid, hot weather, & flight issues etc. Now I regret it.
Sorry, Bhai!
May Dear Lord rest your Soul in Divine Love & Peace!
My heartfelt condolences to Bhabhi and family!

Eternal Love- Ranchhodbhai and Bhabhi had so much love and respect for each other that it exemplifies what a marriage is all about. Each one has their own ideas to do more and more for others but when they followed through with ideas it was more than twice as good. Always one notch higher. They both never shirked their duties to their own family and specially extended families. It was his lifetime. Commitment and Pleasures of his life. He touched everyone's life so deeply that his loss will be felt by all of us. Missing him every minute!

Ranchhod Mama was an amazing man and had such a pure soul. He was selfless, genuine, and thoughtful towards everyone, including his family. He did everything he could to take of his family, my family, and countless others without a second thought. He enjoyed being around others and taking on new adventures and truly lived his life to the fullest. He was determined, headstrong, and generous. He could also take a joke and loved a good laugh even if he was the recipient of the joke. I loved the interactions he had between Pusha Mami and his other relatives, the banter, the switch between serious and laughing in an instant. There are so many memories and funny situations from my childhood when I would stay with the Patel family that will always put a smile on my face. No matter who you are, how long it’s been, or where you were, Ranchhod Mama opened his heart and home to you and made you feel special. That is truly a gift. The footprints and memories Ranchhod Mama has left behind are forever engrained in all of us, and we can all honor his legacy by following in his footsteps. Thank you Ranchhod Mama for all you’ve done and for just being you. You will be forever missed.
Love, Nisha and family

Ranchhod Dad was a great man and friend to all. He always wanted to just be around his family and friends. He thoroughly enjoyed taking care of us, was giving, and was always happy to see us and share an ice cream or a bud light lime. I will miss him greatly.
